    Michael G. Kelly

    Michael G. Kelly is a board certified business bankruptcy attorney who practices primarily
    in bankruptcy and commercial law. For more than thirty years he has actively represented most of the players to be found in bankruptcy cases - trustees, official committees, and secured and unsecured creditors, including banks, factors, credit unions, and trade creditors. Mike is board certified in business bankruptcy law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and the American Board of Bankruptcy Cetiification. Mike is a member is the business and bankruptcy law sections of the State Bar of Texas and served on the council of the bankruptcy section from 2009 through 2012. Mike has been selected as a Texas Super Lawyer in bankruptcy law from 2009 through 2012, 2014 through 2017. Mike also routinely represents lenders, including banks, factors and credit unions in restructuring and collecting troubled loans.

    Blake Hansen was born in Stamford, Texas in 1949 and received his undergraduate BBA degree from Texas Tech University in 1972. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1975. Blake concentrates his legal practice in the area of business and corporate law, transactional law, estate planning and probate law. In his business and transactional practice, Blake represents business entities in their formation, daily legal matters, and in mergers and acquisitions. His practice also includes real estate, health law, and representation of governmental entities.

    Blake received his Texas Law License in 1975 and is licensed to practice before all Texas state courts and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Northern Districts of Texas and before the United States 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. Prior to joining the law firm in 1979, Blake was an assistant district attorney in Midland County, Texas and was County Judge of Midland County, Texas in 1978. Civically, Blake has been very active in the Odessa community by serving as a Board Member and past President of the Ellen Noel Art Museum, as Board Member and past President of United Way of Odessa, as Board Member and past President of Samaritan Counseling Center of West Texas, Inc., and is currently serving as a Board Member of Securing Samaritan's Vision, Inc. and as Board Member and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Odessa Regional Medical Center. Blake and his wife, Fannie, have four adult children. Blake enjoys hunting, hiking, and most outdoor activities.

    J.T. Morgan

    J.T. has been a member and shareholder of the firm since the late '80s. His practice is quite general, but his primary focus is real estate, wills, probates and the formation and representation of small businesses as well as general business transactions. He, through the years, has come to know the owners and key employees of these businesses so he has developed skill in real estate transactions, drafting wills, putting together estate plans, providing powers of attorney and assisting in the probate of estates. He has formed literally hundreds of limited liability companies, corporations, partnerships and joint ventures. As a general rule, these entities and their principals remain his clients and he assists them in day to day matters such as land transactions, mergers and sales to other companies, and the collection of delinquent accounts. J.T. has received a Martindale-Hubbell AV rating from his peers for ability and professionalism, the highest rating offered to anyone, and has enjoyed this honor and distinction every year since 1985. Among J.T.'s clients are credit unions, operating companies, oil field equipment lessors, and transportation companies.

    Personal:
    J.T. was born in the lower valley of El Paso in 1955.
    J.T. is married to Debbie and has been happily married since 1981. They are the proud parents of five children and grandparents to 3 grandchildren.
    He is the current president (2013-2014) of the Greater Odessa Rotary.
    J.T. is active in his church, First United Methodist Church, and has been since 1981.
    He is the Chair of the Odessa Day Nursery, a non-profit which provides discounted child-care to over 110 children and has proudly served on that board for approximately 20 years. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Christmas in Action.
    J.T. is an avid road cyclist and is a runner, both of which are done slowly.

  • Corzine

    Darrell Corzine
    Shareholder and Director

    Darrell W. Corzine is one of the firm's shareholders and directs his practice in matters of civil litigation with an emphasis on business litigation and insurance defense. He has been the lead trial attorney in numerous lawsuits in the Permian Basin and represents both plaintiffs and defendants in trials and arbitrations. He also has experience in business transaction law, maintaining a large business clientele which complements his litigation practice. Darrell is licensed to practice in both Texas and New Mexico state and federal courts. He is a past President of the Ector County Bar Association, and is a member of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel (TADC) and Defense Research Institute (DRI). Darrell is active in community affairs and currenctly serves on the Board of Directors for Complex Community Federal Credit Union, the Advisory Council for Midland Classical Academy-Grammar School, and acts as a judge fo the local "Teen Court" program. He and his wife, Cherie, are happily married and have five children.

  • Corzine

    Denis Dennis
    Shareholder and Director

    Denis Dennis Practices in the areas of Trial and Appellate Law. He has been board certified in Civil Appellate Law since 1998. His practice includes trial work in both Texas and New Mexico. He is licensed in the Northern, Western, and Southern District Courts of Texas, as well as the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. He has been licensed in the State of New Mexico since 2006. His trial and appellate practice emphasizes insurance defense, employment, and defense of public entities.

    Mr. Dennis has an undergraduate degree from Texas Tech in Petroleum Land Management. He graduated from Texas Tech School of Law in 1990. Mr. Dennis has been practicing with the Kelly, Morgan, Denis, Corzine & Hansen firm and its predecessor since 1990. He is married to Tatiana Denis, who is also a lawyer that practices immigration law. He is active in local civic organizations, including the Permian Basin Rehabilitation Center and the United Way of Odessa. He is also active in the First Assembly of God church.

    Maegen Fox

    Maegen Fox grew up in the small hill-country town of Marble Falls, Texas. She earned her B.S. from Texas A&M University with a major in Human Resource Development and a minor in Business Administration. After graduating from Texas A&M, Maegen spent three years working as a human resource manager and advisor in the oil & gas and healthcare industries.

    Maegen attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas where she earned her J.D. At South Texas, she was President of the Real Estate Law Society. She also participated in South Texas Mock Trial team competitions. Maegen also received the CALI Award for Excellence for her legal research and writing skills in Advanced Products Liability.

    While in law school, Maegen gained experience by completing internships for the 308th District Court and Harris County District Clerk's office, and by clerking for a law firm specializing in mass tort litigation.

    Maegen is involved with numerous volunteer organizations in the community of Odessa. She volunteers as a Judge for Ector County's Teen Court Program. She is a Board Member for Odessa Day Nursery, which is a non-profit that provides discounted child-care to over 110 children. She is also a member of the Junior League of Odessa and Young Professionals of Odessa.
